Plum Foods — based in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan — is a long‑established company that began in 1969, initially focused on plum‑derived foods and drinks.

Leveraging the region’s famous Kishu Nanko Ume plums, they produce a wide array of plum‑based products: from plum juice, extracts, jams, jellies, and sauces, to traditional plum liqueurs and fruit wines.

In 2019, Plum Foods expanded its ambition by launching its own distillery,  — enabling them to craft spirits (whisky, gin, rum, vodka, and plum‑infused liquors) using their own pure groundwater.  This fusion of fruit‑processing heritage and modern distilling reflects their mission to honor traditional plum craftsmanship while evolving into a full‑fledged producer of both non‑alcoholic and distilled beverages.
