Issho Bronze comes from Komaki Jozo in Kagoshima's Satsuma-cho, where the family has distilled since 1909. It is a honkaku imo shochu made from local Kogane Sengan sweet potatoes and Kagoshima rice, fermented with white koji and distilled at atmospheric pressure, the lighter, more modern partner to Issho Silver.
The producer built it for the shochu highball, taming the green, harsh notes sweet potato spirits can show with soda while keeping a gentle citrus aroma and a clean, sweet finish. Serve with soda over ice, with water, or on the rocks.
