KID is the flagship brand of Heiwa Shuzo, a family brewery founded in 1928 in the hills of Kainan, Wakayama, and this red-label Junmai Ginjo is its everyday mainstay. It is brewed from Yamadanishiki and Gohyakumangoku rice polished to 50–55% and fermented with Kyokai No. 9 yeast.

The result is clean and gently fruity, with light acidity and a smooth, slightly dry finish. It is versatile with food; serve chilled or at cool room temperature.
